Using github actions to test and deploy serverless python apps

GitHub Actions is a tool within GitHub that enables continuous integration and a wide range of automation. It’s a clear response to the introduction of similar tools by other vendors. In this post I will compare it against Gitlab runners and Travis. The nice thing about actions so far is that the flexibility suprised me; it’s not only useable for linting, testing and deploying: it can also be used to run periodic task + run, triggered by all kind of github events.
